"Horrible leadership mismanaging the wealth of a nation for their own pockets, the government of Rodrigo Duterte is corrupt and murderous," is what the United Nations representatives are saying and worse. But they do little to stop the horrendous human rights disaster.

The Philippines is in a shameful state.

Subject to numerous investigations by every human rights advocate on Earth, the Philippines has now succumbed to its poverty, diseases, and the mining of its 105 million population for the benefit of a few Manila dynasties and their friends.

Malnourishment and hunger are pervasive across the nation as most rural Filipinos suffer unemployment and starvation as well as COVID-19, Dengue Fever, HBV, HIV, Measles, H7N7, and worse.

Philippines Main Local News Service Shut Down by Duterte

Rodrigo Duterte vowed he would kill ABS-CBN which neutrally reported news that Duterte wanted kept secret.

The network was forced off-air in May after the Duterte-controlled Congress refused to renew its licence. On 28 August the remainder of its broadcasts online and on cable ceased as the organization failed without a license.

Watchdogs have accused President Rodrigo Duterte and his government of muzzling independent media such as ABS-CBN and Rappler that have reported critically on issues such as his anti-drug extrajudicial killings that left thousands of mostly poor FIlipinos dead.

The RINJ Foundation and several of its Civil Society partners are seeking action from the Human Rights council which will convene its 45th session on 14 September 2020.

Studies and investigations are becoming boring and inconsequential attempted indications that human rights authorities are "doing something".

They are not.

Action is needed.

The RINJ Foundation has completed its 'studies' and asserts that there are no human rights in the Philippines which has a population that is so badly infected with the Stockholm Syndrome, the populations is unable to help itself.
