An update on how God is using the generosity of North Point Ministries in Ngaamba, Kenya through the ministry of The 410 Bridge.
Ngaamba is a semi arid, hilly area with a population of around 20,000 people. It is made up of four sub-villages, which in 2009 became individual 410 Bridge communities. This shift to multiple communities allows The 410 Bridge to better
serve the specific needs of each community.
There are no significant medical facilities in this agricultural community and addressing the lack of medical care is a top priority. A large-scale water project has been underway in Ngaamba since 2008 and is transforming the area both physically and spiritually. Most of the spiritual influence in Ngaamba comes through the ministry of ten local churches. Pastors from these churches make up the Ngaamba Pastors fellowship.
The leaders from these ten churches meet on a regular basis to discuss the struggles in their community, and to work together to strategize and cast vision to help meet the needs of their people. These leaders understand why the hearts of their people are dry and hope that the partnership with The 410 Bridge will help change the hearts and attitudes of the community, and fill them with the hope of Christ.
