I didn't get the chance to visit Fushimi Inari Shrine last time I visited Kyoto back in 2005 and I was not going to miss the opportunity to go this time round. I had seen so many photos and read about it online and in brochures, magazines and books. I was prepared as one could be. In short it was bliss being there. I was there for a few hours and just wanted to absorb it all in. Walking through the Shine grounds and seeing the main gate and temples was amazing, then walking through the vermilion torii gates up Inari Mountain is an something to experience. I've tried to capture a very small essence of this in this clip for you all to enjoy.
The footage was filmed on the 5DMK2, filmed using a Canon EF Zoom lens - 24 mm - 105 mm - F/4.0 mounted on a tripod
song - haru
