In south central Pennsylvania we've been experiencing an early summer heatwave. Temperatures have been hanging around the mid to high 90's during the day, occasionally crossing into triple digits. This early blast of heat has made most of our animals rather lethargic. The sheep are taking it easier than normal and the pigs are crowding under the water sprinklers. The cats are sleeping a lot (no change there) and Friska the dog is enjoying the ease of being carted around the property when she get's the chance.
