"False Truth," or "erred doctrine" is worse than just a lack of knowledge because once a doctrine has been established as truth, when in fact it is error, when truth arrives, the doctrine will stand against it as an enemy. The person who has accepted men's tradition as truth will push back immediately against the truth that it hears thinking it is heresy. Charles Capps, before going to be with the Lord, famously used the phrase, "kicking over sacred cows." But what about our own "Word of Faith" circles. Is it possible that we're the only faith group in history that has not allowed even one tradition of man into our midst? Of course, however, unfortunate it may be, error has slipped into the Word of Faith teachings and will need to be dealt with accordingly.
