Brief:
A voyage into the Italian Island of Sicily searching for the traces of Its Muslims of the medieval period.

Synopsis:
A young Sicilian Arabic language professor poses the query about the influence of the Islamic period of Sicily’s history on its present identity. To find an answer, he travels along Sicily searching for the traces left by its Muslims during their presence on the Island. He meets ordinary people ,fishermen, farmers, chefs and ceramic artists, moreover, he meets with highly qualified Sicilian professors of History, Agronomy, Geology, Anthropology and History of Art. The conclusion he gets exceeds his expectations.
