This is a much mellower piece.
Recorded the mellow volume swells onto track 1 - simple chord progression, just something to play over while experimenting.
On track 2 I created a blank loop the same length as track 1 and turned the feedback to zero. This meant that anything I recorded onto the track only played back once.
I then used three different buttons - the first replaced 4 alternate chunks of the blank audio with whatever sound was being played at the time... like a delayed... delay! So the repeats come round only the next time round the loop... I also used the pitch shifted version of that, where two chunks are recorded, but are repitched as they are recorded, so they come back as different notes from those that are played in.
And lastly, I used the button that replaces quantised chunks of audio with a part that's backwards and double speed from whatever is played in - the quantise bit here doesn't really make any difference, given that it's not a rhythmic loop, but it was a chance for me to see how I can 'multitask' with those particular buttons in different kinds of musical situation...
Hope you enoyed it!
