After months of research we've finally perfected the Dream VCR, a system which records and decodes dreams in real time.
In our initial exploration into the extraction of dreams, we found that attaching electrodes to the head and chest of the dreamer allowed us to track and capture subtle sleep movements. Upon further exploration, we found that those same movements held within them a high pitched frequency that when slowed down began to sound like words. Surprised by this finding, after extensive analysis using a complex data decoding system, we distilled from the white noise the ethereal voice of the dream fairy.
What you see here is an excerpt of the information gained from the Dream VCR, "001_Crocheted Planet", the first of the Dream VCR recordings that will be used to create "Dream Reveries", a series of immersive interactive dream portraits presented in an interactive landscape on the oculart.com channel.
From the mouth of the dream fairy:
And all of a sudden I was flying through space.
I was a triple decker television set and all the planets were my friends.
I wanted to stop by and say hello but I was going way too fast.
I was heading toward a tiny planet that was made out of a ball of crochet.
When I finally arrived there I was put on a raft on the edge of a giant black sea.
