This movie reflects my fascination with the Edgbaston Reservoir. It's got everything from wildlife to water sports to night photography to the weather to...
Highlights include a flying duck, a bumble bee at work and a great crested grebe diving. Well worth a view if you've got a spare 10 minutes.
Birmingham is famoius for having more canals than Venice and this reservoir was built by Thomas Telford in 1826 to feed them. It's a little bit of paradise set in inner city Ladywood.
The movie was made in the excellent iMovie HD6. Shame Apple mashed the timeline in later versions of the application.
The photo below is among the best of my reservoir photos, though, being portrait format, it didn't make the cut for the movie.
