Bathing Beauties Re-imagining the Beach Hut for the 21st Century is a touring exhibition from the National Centre for Craft and Design (NCCD).

This celebration of architectural design and flights of fancy continues to tour the UK. It came from an artist-led competition which elicited one of the most exciting responses to any architectural competition this century. 240 architects, artists and designers from 15 countries competed for commissions to build their designs on the stunning Lincolnshire coast. Over 100 scale models form a lively show whose design evokes elements of the seaside such as deckchairs, sand between your toes, the sigh of waves and cries of seagulls.

The show continues to tour galleries and can be seen at:
Oriel Davies, Newtown in Powys from 7 July to 5 September 2012

This film was made for NCCD Touring to promote the show which also includes a short documentary by Electric Egg.
