With 70% of the population struggling with poverty Operation Blessing has provided aid to over one million Ukrainians since 1992. The economy in Ukraine is developing very slowly and many people face financial hardship. Most pensioners find it difficult to survive and many families spend most of their income for food and can’t buy good clothing or toys for their children.
We have launched an ambitious project to bring practical assistance to desperate communities. After meeting with village elders, several families agreed to take part in a simple farming scheme we called SEED (Something to eat every day), bringing life and hope to the people of the Ukraine.
