Army ROTC cadets from Pennsylvania College of Technology traveled in style, thanks to a CH-47 Chinook helicopter that landed on campus. The students, along with additional cadets from the Bald Eagle Battalion, met with pilots and toured the iconic aircraft before it transported them to Tioga County for weekend field training exercises. Penn College boasts 20-plus ROTC cadets. Graduates of the program are commissioned as second lieutenants and commit to either four years of active duty or eight years in the Army Reserve or National Guard.
