I used one of my favorite electronic artist Venetian Snares song called Ion Divvy, which have a very distinct left and right sound channel.
So I went through Greyscale Gorillas excellent tutorial, added two of those spheres together and two sound effectors, one for each channel. One blue and one red. I used Xpresso with a New Node > Motion Graphics > Sample + a Range Mapper to connect it with the strength of the Polygon Reduction.
Then manually animated the rotation of the sphere to the music and zoomed in with the camera.
