Despite most natives in Malaysia nowadays live in modern lifestyles in line with the nation’s development, there still are some who live the ancient way inherited from their forefathers. These groups live deep in the forest of the Main Range in Peninsula Malaysia and are practically isolated from the outside world.

This documentary of Pos Betau, Semai – The Land of the Natives, illustrates the actual way of life of the Semai tribe. It describes the relationship between man with animals and other life found in the forest, and how they are able to overcome their challenges.
