Simple FX breakdown of a shot I worked on for the Saints Row Cinematic at Plastic Wax Animation back in 2011. The Cinematic involved alot of timeramping so each effect had to work visually for both 30fps and 120fps.
The shot contains a large group of Jets driven by Thrusters around a building rooftop. The Jets were Simulated with FumeFX 2.1 and Particle Flow. Loodev mainly involved matching the in game Art Direction whilst looking realistic at both 30fps and 120fps.
