I travel a lot with what I do. The main impact of travel is it takes me away from my family. There used to be a time that each trip I could tag a couple of days on to discover each location. Not so anymore. Any spare time is spent at airports, train stations, picking up rental cars, checking into hotels. Those inconsequential moments that are necessary to get from A to B, moments we often forget whilst en route.
This film is dedicated to my daughter, who puts up with her Dad being away, short phone calls due to crazy time zones and the odd Face Time connection if the hotel wifi allows. Yet still she gives me the most heartfelt welcome any Dad would want when they come home.
