This Directing II film was directed by Tyler Nuss. I had the role of Director of Photography. When Tyler initially read the idea for his film to me the first thing to come to mind when coming up with a look was this very pale and steely blue look and a harsh light source. Instead of throwing color temperature gels in front of every light (which was a lot of lights) we decided the easiest options was just turn down the color temp setting on the camera itself. Though this was rather difficult lighting set up, especially lighting the kitchen, I thought the end visual result turned out extremely well.
