Sophie & Matt. What can we say? We only spent a few hours with them, plans had changed dramatically and then again in the week running up to the wedding, but C*vid wasn’t ever going to stop these two getting married.

We met Sophie and Matt a few weeks beforehand at Sophie’s Mum & partner's back garden, where we mapped out where we’d be able to shoot Sophie getting ready safely on the day, but mainly to chat and get to know them a little better. What a brilliant story they have! How they met is really wonderful (we’ll save that one, hopefully, for another time) but their proposal story is amazing and hilarious too. **spoiler alert! It was an emotional day, our first wedding in almost eight months (!!!) emotions were clearly running high but that made the day so more special. We and @sallytphotography may have teared up during the vows! There was such a sense of joy in the air, which made the SURPRISE performance of @hydeparkbrass in the church car park post ceremony all the better! Running around the car park was so worth it to capture the smiles (and moves) of everyone there and pretty sure we gave some onlookers some smiles too. It was the first time we’d had a boogie in such a long time and we definitely didn’t expect to be filming a first dance.
