born in 1948 when it was reported that Leo Durocher went from the Dodgers to manage the Giants. Stops along the way include The Polo Grounds, Yankee Stadium , Forbes Field and more recently
Tiger Stadium during the filming of the HBO movie 61*. Over the years, Andy has “performed” his baseball story live to audiences around the country hundreds of times. Those who have
experienced it include President George W. Bush, Vice President Al Gore, Jay Leno, Garth Brooks, Bob Costas and Billy Crystal. He also was featured on a segment of the TV show “This Week in Baseball.”
