This is a six minute slice of a full ToneCut for Vittorio DeSica's 'Bicycle Thieves' and is meant to serve as a supplemental piece to my analysis found at LivingInCine.com.

This is done in the form of a 'Tone Cut' edit; a term I've come up with to describe the process of analyzing a silenced film, where a one frame tone is placed at every cut of the film to keep attention directed toward the edit, camera and visual decisions of a film.

This is meant for educational purposes only.

If interested in seeing the whole film, or are curious about my other ToneCut films, message me. I'd be glad to share them as long as you are willing to share what you've learned from them as well. Again, this is solely for educational purposes.
