Transparency and government responsiveness depend critically on real-time publicly available information. Since 2010, the Wesleyan Media Project has been providing real-time analysis of candidate, party, and group spending advertising across races, platforms, geographic location and over time. Our goal is to be a resource to journalists, scholars and the public, and we’ll showcase some of our tools at this session.
