My big sister Allana and I drove from Granada to El Chorro and back down the coast of Spain. While we were in El Chorro, we ventured to the "Caminito Del Rey"--the King's little walkway. The name is appropriate because the walkway is 3 feet wide, made up of concrete supported by steel bars mounted into the cliff side. It winds through a narrow gorge, 400 feet off of the rocky ground and water. Though the walkway has worn down with time, it is not quite deteriorated enough to be impossible. There are points during the walk where the concrete has completely fallen apart, and you have to scramble along the cliff face, often spanning across the steel bars, looking 400 feet down to the bottom--yikes! Crazy, but super fun :)
The driving timelapse was taken with my Canon 7d. All of the footage from "Caminito Del Rey" was taken with my Contour. Thanks Contour!
