Pronouns are used to replace nouns. Subject pronouns replace subject nouns. OBJECT PRONOUNS replace object nouns.
I → me, we → us
you → you, you → you
he → him, they → them
she → her
it → it
Examples:
• I know Mary. → Mary knows me.
• She works with Tom. → She works with him.
• We remember Tom and Mary. → We remember them.
Examples:
• What did Ashley fix for ME? → She fixed the window for YOU.
• Are the nuts and bolts for Tim? → No, they aren't for HIM.
• Was John with you and Brian? → Yes, he was with US.
Possessive pronouns show a form of possession or ownership. They express to whom someone or something belongs. Possessive pronouns are generally used in place of a noun and a possessive adjective.
my → mine, our → ours
your → yours, your → yours
his → his, their → theirs
her → hers
Examples:
• The electric saw is my saw. → The electric saw is MINE.
• The long hammer is his hammer. → The long hammer is HIS.
• The thin pliers are their pliers. → The thin pliers are THEIRS.
Examples:
• Whose string is that? → It is MINE.
• Is that ladder OURS. → Yes, it is YOURS.
• Are those wrenches HERS → No, those aren't HERS.

Memorize the vocabulary from Lesson 24. The vocabulary from Lesson 24 is mostly measurement related to tools and repair.
• Do you have tools? Do you know the English word for the tools in your home? Identify the tools in your home in ENGLISH.
