Contemporary dance is usually experienced in large theaters. But is it possible to bring this experience out into public life? What if dance could live everywhere without boundaries?
Hsiao-Ting Hsieh Hsiao-Wei Hsieh broke with conventions and infiltrated the public space to draw inspiration from it to develop choreographies that reflect the movement present in our everyday lives. Commuters, merchants, students, an old man smoking, a quarreling couple, children playing, all of them create movement and by means of metaphor and allegory the Hsieh sisters will transform the Flushing Library square into a stage.
