This is the time-lapse of us setting up for our fourth shoot. One thing you learn when you light with strobes coming through a window is that you always need to bring windex to the location because the homeowner or business owner probably hasn't polished up their windows in years and that light coming through is going to show every little spot and mark.
The other fun thing you'll notice in this video is that the underside of the stove's exhaust fan is covered in blue plastic at the beginning of the video that super for the building never removed when they had the stove installed, but it disappears halfway through the video (0:04). That was an oversight when I first scouted the location that we didn't catch until the strobe lights reflecting off the plastic created a glowing blue square of light on the wall. It took us a full hour to peel it off because the adhesive had melted from the heat over the stove for all those years.
