In a near future dystopia, genetic screening is mandatory for all 16 year olds. Girl A has avoided the law and had a child, deliberately flouting the new world law. Find her guilty and the law will be upheld, find her not guilty and we leave the world at the mercy of genetic diseases and all the misery that accompany them!
This exciting theatre-in-education production has been made specifically to excite and engage students in ethics in science. Although our ‘Girl A’ has been through a few previous manifestations, this one features a fully professional cast. We’ve been working alongside Riga based theatre director Mārtiņš Eihe, physical performer Rachel Gay and Double Bassist John Pope to make a piece of work that engages the audience in a way that challenges them to think creatively and critically.
