Full Frame Documentary Film Festival
Friday, April 13, 2012
Theatrical, cable, pay cable and VOD; documentaries are more prevalent than ever. How are the companies that create and/or distribute these films dealing with the rapidly shifting landscape of documentary programming? Is there a model for documentary programming to be profitable? Can public television still support these films within their given mandate?
Panelists include: James Ackerman, Documentary Channel; Andrew Catauro, POV; Jason Janego, RADiUS-TWC; Molly Thompson, A&E IndieFilms
Moderator: Stephen Nemeth, Rhino Films
Full Frame is proud to present the A&E IndieFilms Speakeasy for the second year in 2012. The venue hosts a number of panel conversations over the course of the annual festival that are free and open to the public. The Speakeasy offers a casual, intimate setting where a small audience can listen to industry leaders take on topics that are at the heart of the documentary community today.
