Take a tour of @the Grounds - Placer Valley Event Center with Cody Carpino, AIA, Principal at Williams + Paddon Architects + Planners. Cody walks us through this brand new 150,000 SF event center complex in the heart of Roseville. It's the largest complex of its kind in Northern California. It has multiple dynamic functions, including 12 full-size basketball courts or 24 volleyball courts as well as being well suited for conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, or anything else requiring 120,000 SF of clear, unobstructed floor space. An additional 30,000 SF houses the support spaces, including a very large entry lobby that can be used for rentable space, eight flex meeting rooms, large storage rooms, offices, and restrooms. The design of the event center compliments the heritage of the fairgrounds and will enrich the community for many generations to come.
