The London & South East Spoke of the National HE STEM Programme funded the SET to Lead project to address the differences in transition rates between male and female engineering and technology students into relevant jobs.

The project was informed by:
* dialogue with engineering and management academics
* discussions with employers
* online survey of over 4,500 students.

The project developed three industry based scenarios and associated videos of engineering leaders and their leadership insights contributed by ThoughtWorks, Highways Agency and Arup, supporting scenarios based on real-life situations.
