Stefano Salvati is a brilliant Italian chef based in a little town called Wellington in Somerset, UK.
He creates seasonal homemade Italian and European dishes using fresh locally grown and reared ingredients from the South West, and you can find Stefano and his delicious food at the local farmers’ markets, food festivals and fairs throughout Somerset.
In the summer months, Stefano opens his backyard up and fires up his wood-fired oven for his pop-up pizza restaurant. On one of our visits we brought along our goddaughters, Chloe and Lexie. Big fans of pizza, they loved the experience and the authentic Italian pizza, and were lucky enough to have an impromptu pizza making lesson with Stefano.
It's aways a fantastic night, full of laughter, music, and of course, great pizza! If you are in the neighbourhood, make sure you pop by.
