As part of an extension to my photographic light study, this video project is dedicated to capturing the light of spring and early summer that is so rarely noticed yet always felt and appreciated. In spring, the ascending sun light creeps into corners and blankets the nooks covered with the moss of fall and winter that have grown cold. It awakens us emotionally and warms the the earth. We don't always notice how light reflects off random objects or how long the late afternoon shadows can be; however, emotionally, we feel it. The full project should be done in the next month or so.
Thanks to Curtis McCain and Jeremy Botwinick who are kind enough to let me barrow their gear.
