"A major look into the distressed soul of post-communist Romania... Inventive, poignant, and at times, extremely humorous."
- Ross McElwee
Fusing documentary and poetic fiction, MINOR VISIONS follows a bumbling young scholar who sets off into the Romanian countryside to do a study on spirituality and superstition. Armed with a cheap camcorder and doubtful research skills, he records a series of encounters with ordinary citizens who are trying to make sense of their lives in the wake of the downfall of communist regime.
