this is the second testrun with our timelapse cable cam rig. it doesn't run 100% smooth at this time but by far better than on our first test ( vimeo.com/46384116 ). the shots ( timelapse and video ) needed some stabilization in post. we've done this with adobe's warp stabilizer. but it doesn't needed a lot of stabilization. we set the smoothing to 2 or 5% depending on the shot to get rid of the small shakes. this brings only 0.8 - 1.0 % overscale of the footage. not to bad at all at this point and totally useable. we try to do some more optimisations to the rig specially to the wheels and the motor drive.
