pct.edu/academics/et/automated-manufacturing-machining Pennsylvania College of Technology students majoring in one of five manufacturing-related degrees are benefitting from a transformational gift to the college. Larry Ward, founder of Packaging Progressions Inc., made a donation exceeding $1 million to revamp the college's machining lab. It's the largest alumni gift in the college's history. Ward's generosity has resulted in fresh painting, lighting, fixtures, and most importantly, 50 new machines for the 14,299 square-foot lab. Several of the machines are dual purpose, allowing for manual and automation operation.
