One Way of Going tells the story of a woman who is slowly saying goodbye to the life she led. Everyday acts are carefully executed. There is a deceleration, as if life is a sequence of still lifes. One Way of Going succeeds Bounce Underground and Landscape # 1 and # 2. The body has a central role in these films. It functions as an instrument, it triggers memories. Movements are closely monitored and the emphasis is on the visual and auditive aspect.
