My name is Jean-Baptiste Le Pesant, I have 10 years of experience managing web and multimedia projects for the advertising and design industry.
Former web designer and art director, I managed web projects for the past 7 years. First with the company I founded, then with the large agency that acquired it. With BBDO Montreal I had the opportunity to develop interactive projects for major brands like Budweiser, Daimler Chrysler, Alcan, Yoplait, Labatt Breweries, Bombardier as well as for smaller local brands like the Montreal Museum of fine arts, Ducharme Seating and many more.
Since 2006 I have been responsible for interactive production at Cossette - a small advertising agency located on Madison Avenue in New York City - where I manage projects for clients like the US Coast Guard, The McGraw-Hill companies, KeySpan and Aurora Breast Imaging.
I define myself as a "Creative web producer", a senior project manager strongly involved in concept and realization.
The role I love to play within a creative organization is to lead interactive projects. From the very first idea, to final delivery followed by results analysis, I make sure all parties involved in a project use their creativity to improve the project at all phases of development. I first work with planners and creative teams to define the idea and then with designers and developers to make that idea happen all while ensuring that it respects the best practices of the industry as well as the client's objectives.
