The Peñasquitos Ranch House offers a glimpse of the typical activities of
the people who lived in the San Diego region over the last 7,000 years,
whether they were the native Americans, the Spanish explorers, the Mexican
ranchers, or the early American settlers. The economic activities at the
ranch house area was typical of the region throughout these millenia.
