This is my first test of the revised board. It worked at low watts: 9w.. Ultimately I want 1000 watts. In the next video, I will test the MPPT control logic, without going much higher than 60 watts. It is always very unnerving when you power up a circuit for the first time.
This is a voltage boost circuit to raise my low voltage furnace fan motor on my wind turbine, to get above and charge my 48v storage battery.
My furnace fan motor produces 120v @ 1050 rpm. My wind turbine spins at 3 to 7 rps. I added a pulley ratio reduction of 0.75 because the starting resistance torque was too great. (4rps x 60s/min.)/1050rpm x 120v = 27v That is too low for my battery.
