A friend of mine asked me to film his band at the Howl At The Moon bar at Universal Studios, Hollywood. It was an indoor low light shoot and I knew I would have issues with video noise. I set the iso at 1600 and aperture at f 2.8. I was using a 50mm 1.8g lens. A Rode stereo video mic was plugged into the audio input. In post I set the saturation to zero and cut down the sharpness a bit. I know there is lots of video noise but I'm happy with the way it looks. It has the raw, grainy film look that works well with this type of subject matter... not a look one would want with a wedding video!
