'Two Bees and a VERY Small Spider' was shot for a bit of fun in the back garden between rain showers using my Sony NEX-FS700. Aside from the usual broken glass and water bombs, this is the first real test I've done using the higher frame rates that this camera can achieve. I will add to this, and replace some of the repetitive clips with new ones in due course. More than likely - a different Bee!
I love how the combination of Macro photography and super slow motion makes everyday things we take for granted so much more interesting...
Lens: Canon 24-105mm F4.0L @ 105mm / IS: On (Aperture around f11 give or take) No ND Dialled in.
Accessories: Metabones adaptor + 31mm Extension tube
(Cheap old Jessops version. No glass in it so why not ;-)
Frame Rate: 200fps
Picture Profile: PP1
Post: FCPX (Light Grade to boost contrast and saturation)
Details: Hand held. Focus was generally pre fixed, then achieved by moving the camera closer to and further from the subject. I'm sure this will be easier on a less windy day. (So many shots were ruined by the flowers 'and Bees' blowing in and out of focus)
Capture mode: End Trigger
