The City Council in Jefferson City, Missouri, voted on October 19, 2020, to remove the city's Confederate monument after Word&Way Editor Brian Kaylor and others advocated for this action. The next morning, the city tore the monument down, so Kaylor visited the site to read Deuteronomy 12:3.
