Silent Treatment is a film piece in which two subjects who had never met were invited into a studio and left alone for an hour sat opposite each other with two camcorders positioned to capture each of their faces. The subjects were asked not to speak for the duration of the hour, speaking for the first time after the hour had ended. Footage from the film was later used to make The Broken Family Band’s music video It’s All Over.
