This project was developed as part of my MTSU undergraduate research. The goal was to learn about optimizing 3D graphics for the iPhone platform. The game runs at 15-20 FPS on the phone itself, which is no small feat considering the game features a physics engine and many megabytes of textures. The speed is achievable by using a procedural terrain system that minimizes CPU resources.
