UENPS - IPOKRaTES 2020 Seminars
International educational forum focused on an overview of the most critical aspects of how the current COVID-19 pandemic affects pregnant women, fetus, newborn, children and families.
OBJECTIVE: This 3-part web-based seminar presents up to date information pertaining to the pandemic and provides information as to how to best control the current breakout and prevent or at least mitigate the effects of future pandemics.
PROTAGONISTS: experts in virology, immunology, placental microbiology, obstetricians, pediatricians, epidemiologists and public health.
HOW: In addition to the lectures, there will be panel discussions and question and answer sessions.
OVERARCHING GOAL: to provide the most up to date information to the participants and guide future directions in mitigation, treatment and prevention of this disease as well as likely future pandemics.
