this is the video documentary of my motion design graduation project "Kyosei (Coexistence)", a panorama installation exhibited at the Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule in July 2012.
"coexistence" describes the two contradictory worlds of normal daily life and fear of radiation after the earthquake which hit Japan in march 2011 and caused severe damage to the nuclear reactors in Fukushima.
the panorama installation is a dodecagon of 5m diameter which is based on a 4.1 surround sound set-up and four projectors with one computer each.
thesis advisors: Prof. Christian Mahler, Daniel Wangen
panorama installation by Lea Nagano
music "snowflake" + "always something better" by Trentemøller
