You Are Not Here discusses landscape in the age of image production using portable devices, cell phone applications and geolocation resources. It offers a cinematic experience for the era of the “man without a camera”, where the public is invited to build cities (or re-edit the paths taken by the artists in different places) using a database. The landscape is displayed on a 360º device that follows visitors’ movements, moving the “north” according to the people and deconstructing the incessant positioning readings that the GPS culture has imposed.
