Jump OnBoard and Follow us on our journeys!
Filmed over a 2 week period and wrapping on 11-11-11, this was my first film, and a journey within itself. I hope to someday return in the next few years and make this short into a feature.

A brief Synopsis of THE RIPPLE EFFECT: A couple farming in Western Washington, Ben and Blair Ripple, leaving America to study agricultural farming abroad. The ecological degradation they find in Indonesia forever changes their lives. Through a dream and a plot of land given to the Ripple's, they stay in Bali and begin a new life. Throughout the past 13 years, Ben Ripple led Bali into organic farming, now working with over 13,000 farmers. Joined by Frederick Schilling, former owner of Dagoba Chocolate, in 2006, their synergies and passion for farming, food and local culture are leading these two incredibly talented and passionate Co-Ceo's on an amazing journey. Big Tree Farms have become vanguards in transparency, accountability, and social equity for companies in Indonesia and the world; a futuristic approach to an evolving way of sustainable business. This film shows what the power of an idea and creative minds can accomplish in a way in which is complimentary to the the natural world we live in.
