At KIPP, our teachers are all “on the same page.” Teachers at KIPP collaborate to deliver strong instruction and a unified culture—not only within their school buildings, but across state lines.
Our annual KIPP School Summit in August is a chance for all KIPP teachers to come together for a week of collaborative professional development. Throughout the year, there are smaller, content-area retreats (such as Math, ELA, Special Needs) where teachers collaborate even further in person, sharing some of their best practices.
In between the times they see each other in person, our 2,000+ teachers share on our online platform, KIPP Share. KIPP Share hosts more than 100,000 lesson plans from KIPP teachers. We believe in innovation, but we don't believe in re-inventing the wheel.
At KIPP, we don’t teach alone. We teach as part of a team of more than 2,000 teachers coast to coast, united in the same mission: to ensure that our students are going to and through college.
