I am a Certified Interpreter and Translator who began working for Interlate Systems Inc. in 1994, when the agency was based in the City of Elgin, Aurora, Batavia, and assigned court interpreting assignments in St. Charles at the Kane County Judicial Center, in Wheaton at the DuPage County Judicial Center, in addition to the McHenry County Judicial Center, and in Joliet, Will County, Illinois USA. I have also worked as a Certified Legal Court Interpreter and Translator in Cook County, LaSalle County, Grundy, and DeKalb in Illinois. While I worked as a Certified Interpreter and Translator in 1994, I was kidnapped in the parking lot after completing my Legal Interpreting Assignment for Interlate Systems, Inc. Also while I worked for Palencia Language Services based in Bolingbrook, Illinois upon referral from Burg Translations in Chicago, I was kidnapped after completing my Certified Interpreting Assignment by a Black man pretending to be a Federal Agent, who forced me into another car from the parking lot and had me abused, physically injured, and hospitalized where they took my Illinois State identification from my wallet and stole money I had in my purse with my Lombard household keys during the course of employment as a Certified Interpreter and Translator. I have also been physically abused, kidnapped, and injured after I worked for Diplomatic Language Services (DLS) based in Virginia, USA. I have been a professional member of the Chicago Area Translators Association (CHICATA), the American Translators Association (ATA), and the Federation of International Translators (FIT-IFT).
