America in the Twilight, can you see her? Do you remember the very last moment before the night arrives? There is a gleaming of twilight that has been and has gone. It is that moment when you see it, that although the night is upon you, yet the light can be seen; gleaming, reflecting, and standing as a beacon to what once had been. It is that time upon which you ponder what has been and possibly what could have been. It is here that America stands on the precipice of eternity in the light of Gods judgment of nations.
America what blessings she has had and what has she become. Behold America has sold herself into captivity for her sins. She has become lawless and a people filled with lawlessness upon the stage of humanity the harlot stands stained with indulgences against the Lord. America how she could have stood! There are those wicked men who have taken her away, behold into the darkness she has gone, after that which her heart desires.
Twilight for America has come, the night has arrived, and we are in the last few remaining vestiges of light that was America before the night descends. Join us for this episode of America, the Twilights Last Gleaming.
Rev 22:11-15 The Choice:
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
America has seen her light of day. She has been in the forefront, raised to the top of nations. Now the night is here, and the in last few moments before the night fully descends, we can still see a gleaming light. It is not huge, just a sparkle, a gleam, and one that descends little by little, moment by moment into the history of time.
The last gleaming reminds of what once was, and what should of been but was not! It reminds us that although we seem to be great and invincible, yet we are vulnerable. Yet we are weak. Yet the strengths of her light and the time of her gleaming forth give way to a night. It is one of darkness, where other forces rule. Where the rules set in place by a magnificent God has been called forth before creation.
First Stanza of Star Spangled Banner
O say can you see by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
